Deborah Sweeney has managed to keep me dreaming about pieces from her Country Rose collection. The nautical influences of rope and stripes infused with horse references (love the horseshoe necklace) lives up to the promise of the label in terms of fine attention to detail, quality of fabric and the wearability of the clothing.
Deb Sweeney established her label in 2002, returning home to New Zealand after working for Jill Stuart in New York and designing for Topshop and H&M in London. Her clothes are stocked in 6 countries and previous collections have appeared in the pages of Vogue, Vogue Girl, Women's Wear Daily, ID, Nylon, Jane, Lucky and Elle magazine. Check out the label's website here.
